Welcome to Fall/Winter Soccer 2010 - 2011
This site is to register for Richmond Youth Soccer Association (Boys). For Girls soccer, go to our sister club www.richmondgirlssoccer.com From 4 to 18 years (born 2006-1993) mid-September to mid-March, twice a week; Three week break in December/January Registration includes jersey, shorts and socks. Only equipment needed: boots & shinguards Soccer - A Sport for Life Fun for players; convenient for parents Promoting exercise, teamwork, fun and skills Easy to learn; everyone constantly active and involved Fixed times each week - plan your schedule with confidence Free training and development sessions for 4 to 11 year olds through the top-quality professional coaches of the Richmond Development Centre Age Groups and Playing Times - Boys Soccer Where a two hour timeslot is shown, sessions will be either the first hour or second hour.
** Selects/Premier team fees are only for those players that participated in tryouts and received notification that they were selected to a team and told to register. IMPORTANT: If you are still participating in tryouts, please do not register until your tryouts and team notifications are completed and you have been directed to register.

A LINK TO THE KIDSPORT APPLICATION FORM IS LISTED ON THE LEFT. Refund Policy Refunds will be given, less a $20 administration fee, up to October 13. Out of District PlayersEligibility All players must be residents of Richmond and have a permanent address in Richmond on the date of registration to be eligible to register for a Richmond team (except as under "Out of District" below). Age Groups The ages of players and teams are based on the age at the next January 1st. For example the oldest age group, Under 18, is for players who will not have attained their 18th birthday on January 1 Most players are encouraged to play in their own age group. Most players playing up are markedly more skilled than most players of their own age. Exceptions will be made for any Out-of-District (OOD) player who has applied in writing to the RYSA and received the specific approval of the RYSA Board to play for a Richmond team. A maximum of three OOD players may be allowed on any team. In general, the Board will give approval for OOD requests if the presence of the player on a Richmond team is for the betterment of Richmond soccer and its players. OOD players must generally be stronger than other available Richmond players, or have some connection with Richmond soccer. The majority of OOD players play for Select League teams, or have a family connection, or used to live in Richmond. Teams requesting OOD players should submit applications as soon as a player is selected, with the last date for requests being July 15th. |
